Unique opportunity to have your short film produced! 

 

 

Come to the open casting call COMIC CON WEEKEND (July 24 & 25) aboard the Titmouse Comic Con Party Boat for an in-person pitch and audition.  All participants who audition will receive a Titmouse coloring book. We are looking for 12 contestants with off-the-wall and brilliant ideas, determined to get their 5-minute film into the worldwide festival circuit. 7200 FRAMES will chronicle the joy and agony of producing YOUR animated short film.  Titmouse will fund and produce your project from start to finish – that is, if it’s good enough to become something great.   So get your best story in line, tidy up your concept portfolio and get your pitch ready to present to the judges.

Gate 1 is located behind the Hyatt Hotel by Seaport Village shopping area.

 

From the Convention Center walk out onto the boardwalk of the marina and turn right towards the Marriott and Hyatt hotel.

Or submit an online portfolio or reel AND live footage of the artist describing his/her film idea. This live interview should be no longer than five minutes.

 

All submissions due by July 26, 2009.

 

Submissions should be in the form of a link to a YouTube video pasted into the body of an email addressed to : subanimate@gmail.com

 

Submission emails should contain the subject: 7200 Frames submission.

Submissions without live interview will not be considered. The documentary series will be about the artists and the behind the scenes process of the creation of the animated films, so the submitting artist must be comfortable appearing on camera. Not all artists chosen for the series will have their film funded. This is a competition series between 12 selected animators. 3 films will be selected to be taken to completion. The remaining 9 artists will participate as crew members on the the selected films. Must be 18 or older.
